Keystroke POS works with a wide variety of third party software and hardware products. This includes most types of POS-related peripheral hardware devices such as electronic cash drawers, receipt printers, barcode readers, customer pole displays, magnetic-stripe readers, programmable keyboards, change dispensers and electronic scales. Third party software can be integrated with Keystroke to add many diverse capabilities such as custom reporting (spreadsheets work great), automated data backup, data communications and complete accounting.
KashBox , also published by Specialized Business Solutions, is a PC-based alternative to traditional standalone credit card terminals. KashBox can be used to accept and manage most payment methods including cash, checks (verify or guarantee), all major credit cards, and ATM/debit cards. KashBox also provides valuable benefits not available in other credit card processing solutions, such as gift card processing, and automated batch processing for recurring payments such as monthly fees or regular donations. Getting started with KashBox is fast and easy. An internet connection and a merchant account with Mercury Payment Systems are required for payment processing. An inexpensive magnetic card swipe device is required to get the best possible processing rates, and a PIN pad device is required to process ATM/Debit Cards.
